Terms of Use

The short version

The site is free to play. Be decent to the people you are playing against, do not try to break the games or the server, and understand that a free hobby site comes with no guarantees about uptime or accuracy.

Using the site

You may play the games for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. No account is needed and nothing is charged.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, automate gameplay, extract the underlying datasets in bulk, or interfere with other players' matches.

Your display name and chat

You choose a display name, and other players in your match or lobby will see it. Do not choose a name, or send chat messages, that are abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening, or that impersonate someone else.

We may block names or messages that breach this, and may restrict access for anyone who repeatedly does so.

Football data and accuracy

Questions and player information are compiled from publicly available football records. Football data is messy: transfers get recorded inconsistently, names are spelled several ways, and edge cases exist in every dataset.

This means a question will occasionally be wrong or a valid answer will occasionally be rejected. If you find one, please report it — there is a link in the footer. The games are for entertainment and should not be treated as an authoritative reference.

Availability

This is a free service and it is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be available at any given moment, that matches will never disconnect, or that scores and results will always be preserved. Games, features and rules may change or be removed.

Our content

The site's name, design, written content and game formats belong to us. Club badges, competition logos and player images remain the property of their respective owners and are used to identify the clubs, competitions and players in question.

If you own rights to something used here and would like it removed, contact us and we will act on it.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the current version.
