Create a private lobby and you get a short code to send. Your friends open the site, enter the code and land in the same room as you. It works the same on a phone on the sofa as it does on a laptop three countries away.
Two of you, or the whole group
Some modes are built for a straight duel: football tic-tac-toe and Club Clash are one against one. Tenaball and Football Bingo take two to eight. Football Hold'em runs two to four. Link-up is the one for a crowd, splitting four to sixteen players into two teams.

Not everyone in a group knows football to the same depth, and a pure quiz punishes that fast. Link-up rewards lateral thinking as much as recall, and Football Bingo leaves room for luck, so the person who only watches finals still has a say in how it ends.
